This past weekend we were thrilled to participate in the 17th annual Philly PAWS Mutt Strut at the Navy Yard!
Over ten years ago we adopted our best friend, Jax, from @phillypaws so we were thrilled to support their lifesaving efforts in Philadelphia. (Jax was a Jax-o-lantern for the dog costume contest.) 🎃
Our daughter spent most of the morning with Pancake, a toothless wonder and she is putting up a fierce adoption persuasion campaign this week. (Someone please adopt Pancake - she is a gentle dreamboat.) ❤️ The Mutt Strut is such a joyous event for dog lovers. Our daughter just walked around saying, "This is the best day ever!" (Seriously - there were dogs in every direction.) There was the dog costume contest, a paw-print painting station, pooch agility courses, oodles of free treats from vendors (Jax was a happy dog!), a mobile groomer providing mini-grooms, "ask-a-trainer" stations and more.
Thanks to PAWS for their years of great work in Philly to save the must vulnerable pups. We're already looking forward to 2024's Mutt Strut. (We have to step up our costume game apparently.)
